Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms applicable to bookings made through Blissmet.

Effective Date: August 8, 2026

1. Customer Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation through Blissmet's official communication channels. A cancellation is effective only after it is confirmed by Blissmet.

The following refund structure generally applies:

Cancellation Before EventRefund Eligibility
More than 15 daysUp to 100%*
8–15 daysUp to 75%
4–7 daysUp to 50%
48 hours–3 daysUp to 25%
Less than 48 hoursNo refund

*Refunds may be reduced by applicable non-recoverable expenses, customised services, vendor commitments, taxes, payment-processing charges, or other costs already incurred for the booking.

The final refund amount will depend on the specific booking and actual costs incurred.

2. Cancellation by Blissmet or a Vendor

Blissmet or a vendor may need to cancel or modify a booking due to circumstances such as:

  • Vendor or venue unavailability.
  • Safety or security concerns.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Force majeure events.
  • Fraudulent or incorrect booking information.
  • Non-payment.
  • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where a booking is cancelled for reasons not attributable to the customer, Blissmet may offer a suitable replacement, rescheduling, or an appropriate refund, depending on the circumstances.

3. Rescheduling

Customers may request to change their event date or time instead of cancelling.

Rescheduling depends on:

  • Vendor availability.
  • Venue availability.
  • The type of service booked.
  • Time remaining before the event.
  • Operational feasibility.

Any difference in pricing or additional vendor costs may apply to the revised booking.

4. Customised & Non-Refundable Services

Certain services may not be fully refundable once they have been prepared, purchased, reserved, or customised specifically for the customer.

These may include:

  • Personalised cakes and gifts.
  • Custom decoration.
  • Printed materials.
  • Fresh flowers purchased for the event.
  • Venue reservation charges.
  • Artist or celebrity booking fees.
  • Special equipment.
  • Government or permit fees.
  • Transportation costs already incurred.
  • Other customised products or services.

Where such costs have already been incurred, they may be deducted from the refundable amount.

5. No-Show

A booking may be treated as a No-Show if the customer:

  • Does not attend the scheduled event.
  • Refuses to receive the booked services.
  • Fails to provide venue access or required permissions.
  • Makes the venue inaccessible for reasons attributable to the customer.
  • Cannot be contacted within a reasonable time.

A No-Show does not automatically qualify for a refund or free rescheduling. Reasonable costs already incurred by Blissmet or vendors may be deducted.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be:

  • Reviewed within 3–5 business days, and
  • Initiated within 7–10 business days after approval.

The actual time for the funds to reach the customer may depend on the bank, payment gateway, card network, or other financial institution.

Refunds will normally be made through the original payment method where technically possible.

7. Refund Deductions

Where permitted by applicable law, refunds may be reduced by actual costs associated with the booking, including:

  • Non-refundable payment gateway charges.
  • Taxes that cannot be recovered.
  • Vendor mobilisation costs.
  • Procurement and transportation expenses.
  • Customisation costs.
  • Venue charges paid to third parties.
  • Other reasonable and documented expenses incurred specifically for the booking.

8. Partial Refunds & Exceptional Circumstances

A partial refund may apply where part of the service has already been delivered, materials have already been purchased, or additional costs have already been incurred.

Blissmet may consider exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, public emergencies, or documented medical emergencies on a case-by-case basis.

Any refund in such circumstances will depend on the specific situation, actual costs, vendor commitments, and applicable law.

9. Refund Request Process

To request a cancellation or refund, contact Blissmet through its official communication channels and provide:

  • Booking ID.
  • Name.
  • Registered mobile number.
  • Reason for cancellation.
  • Supporting documents, where applicable.

Blissmet may request additional information to verify the request before processing a refund.

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have a payment or refund issue, please contact Blissmet first so that we can investigate and resolve it.

Unjustified or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of the relevant booking or account. Blissmet may provide booking and payment records to the relevant payment provider or financial institution where required.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights available to customers.

11. Force Majeure

If an event is affected by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Blissmet, the customer, or the vendor—such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil disturbances—Blissmet may offer:

  • Rescheduling, subject to availability.
  • A partial or full refund where feasible.
  • A booking credit or voucher where mutually agreed.

Each situation will be assessed individually.

12. Changes to This Policy

Blissmet may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, operations, payment procedures, or applicable laws.

The latest version will be published on www.blissmet.com.

13. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussions. If it cannot be resolved amicably, it will be handled in accordance with the dispute-resolution provisions of Blissmet's Terms & Conditions and applicable law. Delhi is the arbitration seat and court jurisdiction.
